Plot: The battle of the sexes heats up in Columbia Pictures’ comedy “The Ugly Truth.” Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is a romantically challenged morning show producer whose search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. She’s in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway(Gerard Butler), a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick.
My Review: For once in a long time a trailer for a romantic comedy shows only a glimpse of what is to come. The Ugly Truth is one of a handful of romantic comedies that everyone will enjoy. The film starts off with us meeting Abby who is a control freak producer of a San Diego News station. With ratings dropping her news show is on the chopping block unless they can turn it around. While at home that night she come across “The Ugly Truth” a local show that Mike runs and stars in. Mike a foul mouthed but awfully truthful man insults Abby when she calls in to talk about the open topic.
The next day only gets worse for dear Abby as mike is hired on to help the station with ratings. This leads into the laugh out loud comedy that keeps on coming for the entire film. SO many good laughs like the kiss cam, To one hell of a corporate dinner, and of course the random teachings of mike. This cast was a blast to watch as Butler and Heigl feed of each other and bring in the rest of the cast for great laughs.
All around i was very pleased with this film as it not your typical romantic comedy. Go out and see why theUgly truth is so great.
As someone who’s seen the original Tron and enjoyed it i can officially say i can not wait for this film. Check out the footage and see for yourself.
“Tron Legacy” is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Muveepro has learned that Paul W.S. Anderson will be back to direct Resident Evil: Afterlife and it will be released in 3D
Anderson, said in a recent interview that the fourth movie will have the biggest budget of the films so far. “I always envisioned Resident Evil as a trilogy of films,” he said. “And we’ve been very lucky where it’s a trilogy where the audience has built and built. I wanted to kick off a brand new trilogy. I’m really excited we’re doing it [in 3-D] and we’re using the same camera system [James] Cameron used for Avatar. There are a lot of exciting things about this one. I don’t regard it as Resident Evil 4, I regard it as a re-tooling and rebirth of the entire franchise.”
