Black Book has posted up a new quote from Neve Campbell suggesting that Wes Craven will be back for Scream 4.

“I’m pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson] is definitely writing it…so it is going to be great.”

Based on previous reports from writer Kevin Williamson, we already knew that he was penning the script and that he confirms the return of at least three main stars. IMDB’s cast list suggests that the trio would include Campbell, David Arquette, and Courteney Cox.

I am interested in seeing where they go with this sequel. I very much enjoy the Scream trilogy and hope they can do something interesting with it now being 10 years after the original trilogy.
