The Plot: The story’s hero is Jake Sully, a former Marine confined to a wheelchair. Bitter and disillusioned, he’s still a warrior at heart. All Jake ever wanted was something worth fighting for, and he finds it in the place he least expected: on a distant world. Jake has been recruited to join an expedition to the moon Pandora, which corporate interests are strip-mining for a mineral worth $20 million per kilogram on Earth. To facilitate their work, the humans use a link system that projects a person’s consciousness into a hybrid of humans and Pandora’s indigenous humanoids, the Na’vi. This human-Na’vi hybrid – a fully living, breathing body that resembles the Na’vi but possesses the individual human’s thoughts, feelings and personality – is known as an “avatar.”

In his new avatar form, Jake can once again walk. His mission is to interact with and infiltrate the Na’vi with the hope of enlisting their help – or at least their acquiescence – in mining the ore. A beautiful Na’vi female, Neytiri, saves Jake’s life, albeit reluctantly, because even in his avatar body, Jake represents to her the human encroachment on the Na’vi’s unspoiled world.

As Jake’s relationship with Neytiri deepens, along with his respect for the Na’vi, he faces the ultimate test as he leads an epic conflict that will decide nothing less than the fate of an entire world.

My Review: I remember watching T2 when i was younger and being left in awe when it was said and done. There has been amazing movies since then, but nothing that left me breathless as Avatar did. James Cameron is back in a big way and Avatar is proof of that. From the beginning to end this film is amazing visually and story wise.

This movie pulls you in so deep even from the beginning as the story is rich. Watching Jake go from (as he is called in the beginning of the film) a “baby” to one of the tribe members was great. I love the twist Cameron gave to all of the wildlife on the planet all aquatic based life forms in ways you could never imagine . While you can see the end coming after about half of the movie it doesn’t bring down the film at all.You are pulling for the Na’vi the whole film as Cameron’s hidden message hits your heart hard.

I recommend this film to all who truly love film. You will never forget anything you seen in this movie.

I’m one of the tron fans that is extremely excited about this films release. Besides the VFX trailer that was released a few months ago not a lot has been shown of the film. But the poster has finally made it’s way to the net. here is the plot of the next film if you don’t know.

Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

After the leak of the same teaser trailer in low quality form online, Warner Brothers has released the official teaser trailer for the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The nearly 50 second long teaser is begins with introductions by David Yates and David Heyman as well as some cool behind-the-scenes footage.

As we posted a couple days ago, those that purchased the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince DVD would receive a special first look at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Well, I had no idea that it would be in the form of a trailer, but low and behold–we have it!

Well, a leaked version that is. Someone recorded it on their TV and it has hit the internet. You can watch it below.

As Kick-Ass is starting to come together very well, I’m getting into the ad campaign they are using for this movie. A new poster of Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist is now online. 

The Matthew Vaughn directed comic book adaptation has a great cast and looks very promising.  The premise is about a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.

His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

Screen Rant has posted up a new photo from James Cameron’s Avatar film that shows stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana rehearsing a scene for the film pre-CGI.

It’s kind of interesting to see and I think Sam looks pretty funny with that wig on. Anyway, have a look at the full photo below.

Yesterday, /Film gave us a first look at the Sundance film entitled Welcome to the Rileys in which Twilight Kristen Stewart plays a stripper that gets tangled up in the life of a businessman played by James Gandolfini.

Today, SpoilerTV has posted up a few more promotional photos from the film. In one, it sort of looks like Stewart is in a mental institute with all that white in her room… but I’ve no idea.

Two new clips from James Cameron’s highly anticipated film Avatar made their way online last night.

With several featurettes, clips, and promo photos being released in the last month or so, this film is finally getting the sort of promotion it deserves.

The first clip is from Cineplex in which Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) introduces Jake (Sam Worthington) to her Banshee. Watch the clip below.

The next clip exclusively from MSN features SecFor administrator Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) and Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver) discuss the prospect of using Jake Sully for the Avatar program, and Selfridge reminds Augustine of the true mission on Pandora–to win over the indigenous creatures. Enjoy the clip below.

/Film has posted up a promotional photo of Twilight star Kristen Stewart as a stripper in a Sundance film called Welcome to the Rileys.

James Gandolfini also stars as a businessman who has some sort of involvement with the stripper played by Stewart. The synopsis reads: “On a business trip to New Orleans, a damaged man seeks salvation by caring for a wayward young woman.”

I generally enjoy Kristen Stewart’s performances in lesser known films like Adventureland and I have no doubt that this will be good. Besides, who doesn’t want to see a stripper version of Bella?
