A new promotional poster for the upcoming Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law action/mystery, Sherlock Holmes has surfaced on the web. It is a bit blue but I rather like it. I think the film and the poster both give off a vibe that somehow relates to Christmas. I don’t know why I think this is a perfect film to open on Christmas Day, but it just feels right.

Take a gander at the new poster below:

So, what do you think?

A new trailer for Guy Ritchie’s (Snatch, RockNRolla) new film, Sherlock Holmes has been posted online. I saw the trailer sometime last week ahead of Couples Retreat, but it has been labeled a TV Trailer on the web for some reason.

Anyway, we haven’t seen much new material from the film since the less lengthy trailer debuted back in May. However, this trailer more than makes up for that with several new, extended scenes and a clock time of 2:16 minutes.

Have a look at the new trailer in high quality below:

This film looks great for a number of reasons. After Robert Downey Jr.’s performance in Iron Man last year, I have to say that I am definitely a fan of his comeback and I have always liked Jude Law and Rachel McAdams. Not to mention that this is a different spin on the Sherlock Holmes I’m used to, so it looks very entertaining.

I also applaud the Christmas release date, it just seems perfect for a film like this–although it is a couple months away.

As someone who’s seen the original Tron and enjoyed it i can officially say i can not wait for this film. Check out the footage and see for yourself.

“Tron Legacy” is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
