It seems that director Quentin Tarantino has another big hit on his hands. The early buzz on his new film Inglourious Basterds is starting to roll in and of course MuveePro has some of the first sample reviews for you spoiler free no doubt!

Empire Magazine
: “Rather brilliant. Every bit as idiosyncratic as the spelling of its title, it’s a wonderfully-acted movie that subverts expectation at every turn. And it may represent the most confident, audacious writing and directing of QT’s career.” … “The performances are superb across-the-board.” “[Christoph Waltz] may be a shoo-in for a Best Supporting Oscar nom” … “Some of his Grindhouse flourishes – large captions stamped on screen, the usual flirting with structure and chronology, offbeat musical cues (a David Bowie track shows up at one point) and the sudden introduction of a hip narrator (Samuel L. Jackson) – may irk some” … “certainly very talky,”

BBC Entertainment Team:Surely Tarantino’s best film since Pulp Fiction. Goody!! Brad Pitt is superb… It’s flabby in parts…

First Showing:Inglourious Basterds was frickin’ awesome! This is the WW2 movie we’ve all been waiting to see!! Lots of talking scenes, but still great! Diff than I was expecting, but I think Tarantino is back in action, hell yea!! The action is kind of minimal, but that’s Tarantino for you, lots of talking, but great story, I loved it!

MuveePro will have its offical review of the film soon and we will continue to give updates on the film!

inglorious basterds 150x150Quentin Tarantino has already begun writing a prequel to Inglorious Basterds!  During an interview with the New York Times Tarantino stated,” I have a half-written prequel already to go if this movie is a smash.” This must be a sign of confidence from the director because Ingloourious Basterds has not even been released.

Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds has an impressive cast as it stars Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Mike Myers, and Eli Roth. Speaking of plot choices, Tarantino admits he thought of changing the the villains from Nazi’s to the KKK in America. Tarantino commented,” Once the Basterds get through with Europe, they could go to the South and do it to the Kluxers in the ’50s. That’s another story you could tell.”

Quentin Tarantino is already predicting success proclaiming, “It will be in the original category at the Oscars.” Inglorious Basterds hits theaters August 21.  Muveepro will continue to keep viewers update with the latest interviews, pictures, and spoilers of Inglorious Basterds.
