Some new promotional photos from the remake of horror film The Nightmare on Elm Street have popped up over at SpoilerTV.

The original Nightmare On Elm Street centered around child killer Freddy Kruger, who was killed by an angry mob of parents only to return to haunt their teenagers in dreams.

In case you didn’t know, Jackie Earle Haley has been cast as the new Freddy Kruger and I’m sure the film will be a treat! Have a look at the new photos below.

Look for Nightmare On Elm Street April 16, 2010!

Apparently, Sony sent some more photos from the remake of The Karate Kid over to /Film and so now we have those to share in addition to the one posted earlier.

In the remake, Dre (Smith), a skateboarding video game buff is forced to move to China when his single mother (Taraji P. Henson) must transfer to China for work. Of course, unable to speak Chinese, Dre finds it hard to settle in and gets beat up by the local bully.

Jackie Chan plays Mr. Han who is a maintenance man that spots Dre’s black-eye and offers to teach him both martial arts and Chinese, so he can defend against the students of Li Quan Ha’s Fighting dragon school of Kung-Fu.

Have a look at the new photos below.

The Karate Kid is set for theaters on June 11, 2010.

The Karate Kid is a remake that I most definitely oppose, but I know I can’t stop it. At any rate, People Magazine has given us a first look at Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan in this first promotional photo for the film.

You would think that they would at least give us an action shot. I mean, they are sitting in a booth for crying out loud! At the very least, People claims that Smtih has “mastered front kicks and upper blocks through his hard work ethic and dedication” while training for the film.

Jaden says he trained for four months and Chan insists that Jaden “took the training very seriously. I was impressed with him.”

Have a look at the full photo below.

This remake has made a few changes from the original. First of all, the film is now set in China rather than California and the character of Daniel, now a bit younger, has been renamed to Dre. Also, Chan will not playing Mr. Miyagi, but instead he is now called Mr. Han. Surprisingly, these seem to be the most significant changes they have made.

Look for the The Karate Kid in theaters on June 11, 2010.

We’ve been posting several new posters from Tim Burton’s version of Alice In Wonderland over the past couple of weeks. We started out with a magazine scan (that reportedly originated on DeviantArt) featuring a wide view of the many characters in the wonderland, including a first look at the caterpillar.

The Mad Hatter has been releasing posters that are essentially just cut up versions of the magazine scan. First was the right side with the queens, then the left side with Alice, and now a shot of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.

Have a look at the full poster below, although it is nothing really new.

Alice In Wonderland is due in theaters on March 5, 2010 and also stars Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Crispin Glover, and Anne Hathoway.

The A-Team looks like it is shaping up to be a good little film, even if it is only seen for nostalgic reasons. I’m not even a fan and haven’t seen any episodes of the popular television series, but I will definitely be checking this film out.

If you didn’t know, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is taking on the role of Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus, made famous by Mr. T in the TV show.

SpoilerTV has posted some new photos of Jackson filming scenes on the set of The A-Team in Vancouver, Canada. Have a look at them below.

The A-Team is due for release on June 11, 2010 and also stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, and Jessica Biel.

A new teaser trailer for Clash of the Titans, a Louis Leterrier remake of a 1983 film of the same name, has finally been released.

The darker (than its predecessor) film is about the myth of Perseus (Sam Worthington) and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda.

You can watch the very 300 styled teaser below.

Clash of the Titans will be released in theaters on March 26, 2010 and also stars Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton, and Ralph Fiennes.

We first reported on the remake of Footloose way back in May, and it seems that the project has hit a major bump in the road.

Director Kenny Ortega has now removed himself from the project citing creative differences. According to Variety, the High School Musical director wanted to do a big musical numbers, burning through Paramount’s budget. Meanwhile, Paramount’s production president, Adam Goodman, wants something edgier and more like a drama.

Personally, I would probably like the latter one better, but I don’t really care about this project very much. I think that Hollywood needs to get their act together and come up with new ideas rather than rehashing all these old ones that don’t really need it.

We will keep you updated with any more news related to the Footloose remake project as it becomes available.
